Château Gueyrosse and Domaine Chante Alouette Cormeil are BEE FRIENDLY certified!

This certification reflects our commitment to the protection of bees and pollinators.

Organic Certification:

Our vineyards are also certified as Agriculture Biologique (organic agriculture).

Our official engagement in organic farming dates back to 2018, following a 3-year conversion

process.

BEE FRIENDLY Practices:

Since 2019, Château Gueyrosse and Domaine Chante Alouette Cormeil have implemented practices

aligned with the BEE FRIENDLY label.

This label focuses on safeguarding bees and pollinators.

Our vineyard management includes an autumn green cover crop composed of vetch, oats, and

crimson clover.

This not only provides natural fertilization but also serves as a habitat and food source for pollinators

and beneficial insects.

Certification Process:

The 2022 harvest of both Château Gueyrosse and Domaine Chante Alouette Cormeil has received the

BEE FRIENDLY certification. An audit by a certifying body took place after the 2022 harvest,

followed by validation by the Bee Friendly committee. The vineyard consistently adhered to the Bee

Friendly criteria throughout the year.

  • Bottles: The 2022 is bottled and available for sale at the end of May 2024.

  • Explore Previous Vintages: You can already discover the 2019 and 2020 vintages, both

certified Bee Friendly. When you visit the Château Gueyrosse cellars, you’ll have the opportunity to
