Chefs Supper Table and Wine Pairing

We think so and so we’d like to offer you the opportunity to join us for our first Chefs Supper Table on
Good Friday, 29th March.
The Chef's tables are based on something we used to run in our pub in Dunstable, to bring people
together who love food and socialising. It tends to be made up of couples or 2 or 3 friends who want
to join others at the table for an evening of food and chat. Some of the enquiries we have had arefrom
larger groups of friends. If you are part of a group of friends that would love to have a Chef's table
lunch or supper just for your group, please contact me and we’ll organise a date especially for you
and your friends.
Excited to join us? The menu alone is priced at 42.50 euros, with an optional wine pairing
available for an additional 12.50 euros per person.
Here's what Chef Andy has to say about the menu:
I enjoy the foods available at this time of the year as you start to get the feeling of the season
changing and of the abundance of seasonal foods to come. For the moment though, the unexpected
continuing wetness of this season makes me want to continue digging into traditional cooking
methods and hearty dishes.
The intention behind this menu is to introduce some ingredients and flavours that will offer not only
interest but comfort as well. So, I’m thinking langoustine with a scented chervil leek terrine and
shellfish sauce to start us off, followed by a rosette of beef with a celeriac and Ile de Ré potato cake,
girolle mushrooms, seasonal greens served with a sage sauce and to finish, a chocolate and
praline mousse with pistachio and white chocolate cream parfait.
All of this can be accompanied by some delightful wines skilfully paired to the menu and provided by
the Jesse Knight, MANvsWINE. Jesse sources his wine from independent local wineries
and Chateaux that he passionately supports.
Jesse has selected Château Gueyrosse 2015.
